All sixteen tracks were written, recorded, arranged, produced and mixed by Meg Pfeiffer. Electric guitar on several songs was performed by Luca Stricagnoli.
Red Wine Philosophy is Meg Pfeiffer’s seventh studio album, released worldwide on August 8, 2025, through Virgin Music Group (Universal Music) in partnership with Mesa Bluemoon Recordings. The album is raw, unfiltered, and uncompromisingly honest; Sixteen tracks that hit with the intensity of that first bold sip of red wine on an empty stomach.
Every note and every word comes directly from Meg herself. She wrote, arranged, performed, recorded, produced, and mixed each song independently, creating a body of work that is as personal as it is powerful. To accompany the music, she also produced sixteen lyric videos, one for every track, extending the stories visually in her own distinctive style.
The album reflects her return to the roots of alternative music, shaped early on by the influence of artists such as Fiona Apple and Tori Amos. It also marks a reconnection with Universal Music; not as a signed artist under strict contracts, but this time on her own terms, with full artistic freedom. For Meg, that is more than a release; it is a victory.
Red Wine Philosophy is not only a collection of songs but also a statement about independence, perseverance, and authenticity. It carries the depth of Meg’s life journey, her resilience in the face of personal loss, and her commitment to creating meaningful art outside the boundaries of the mainstream industry.

Perspective is Meg Pfeiffer’s sixth studio album, released on August 23, 2024. The record shows her as a Viking warrior, a symbol of strength and fearlessness, and carries that spirit through thirteen songs that move between pop and rock.
Every track on Perspective comes entirely from her own hands. Meg wrote, performed, recorded, arranged, edited and produced the whole album by herself. It is a project that reflects her independence and her determination to create music exactly the way she imagines it.
At its core, Perspective is about resilience and finding clarity in the middle of challenges. It is powerful, personal and unafraid to stand out, giving listeners a glimpse into both her strength and her heart.
The album also brought notable recognition. The Richest from Perspective is nominated at the Josie Music Awards as Song of the Year in Nashville. The first single, Woman of the Day, went on to win four awards, including the InterContinental Music Awards and the Women Freedom Song Award.

All twenty-two tracks were written by Meg Pfeiffer (music and lyrics) together with Luca Stricagnoli (music). The album was produced and edited by Meg Pfeiffer, with all arrangements created by Pfeiffer and Stricagnoli.

Unsent is Meg Pfeiffer’s fifth studio album, released in 2022. With twenty-two tracks, it is one of her most ambitious projects and marks a close creative collaboration with guitarist and inventor Luca Stricagnoli. Meg wrote, recorded, arranged, produced and edited the album entirely on her own, with the exception of the final mixing. Even the cover art was created by Meg and Luca themselves, underlining the independent spirit of the release.
The album blends rock and pop, Meg’s favorite genre, and has been honored with thirty-two awards worldwide, including InterContinental Music Awards, Global Music Awards and Lit of the Year. Among its songs, Machine stands out as Meg’s most streamed and most awarded track to date. Its accompanying music video, filmed in Arizona by Meg and Luca alone, was directed, edited and produced by Meg herself. The video went on to win numerous international awards and became a fan favorite.
Unsent also features Hunter, the opening track and the album’s most played song on radio stations, as well as All Night Long, which was released as a video on Meg’s official Vevo channel. The latter was filmed in Nashville at night, once again produced entirely by Meg and Luca without a crew.
Following her previous album Nope, which contained twenty-three tracks, Unsent continues Meg’s path of creating large-scale works with complete independence. With its scale, authenticity and worldwide recognition, the album showcases her ability to combine the raw energy of rock and pop with personal storytelling and uncompromising creative control.

This three-track EP came as a surprise to Meg’s fans, revealing a softer and more delicate side of her as both songwriter and producer. With only piano, guitar, ukulele, her voice and subtle drums, the winter release creates an intimate and magical atmosphere. Every song was written, recorded, performed, arranged, edited and mixed entirely by Meg Pfeiffer.
Released in January 2021, Winter Tales is a three track EP that reveals a softer and more intimate side of Meg Pfeiffer as both songwriter and producer. Each song is a quiet gift, shaped by simple arrangements of piano, guitar, ukulele, soft drums and her voice, all combining to create a magical winter atmosphere. Every track was written, recorded, performed, arranged, edited and mixed entirely by Meg herself, underlining her complete creative independence. On the final EP track Simple Man, Luca Stricagnoli contributed his guitar skills with exquisite fingerpicking, giving the song an additional layer of artistry and depth.
The EP’s standout track Simple Man received an honorable mention at the US Songwriting Competition. This recognition also led to Meg being featured as an award winner in the Amazon charted book How to Write Better Songs by Scott Ashley.
To bring the music closer to her audience, Meg produced three lyric videos for her YouTube channel, one for each song, adding a visual dimension to the release. Winter Tales is both a showcase of her skills as songwriter, producer, recording and mixing engineer, and a glimpse into her ability to create deeply emotional worlds on her own.

All twenty-three tracks on Nope were written by Meg Pfeiffer. Tracks one to eighteen were recorded, performed, edited, arranged and produced by her. The demo tracks nineteen to twenty-three were also recorded, performed, arranged, edited, produced and mixed entirely by Meg. To accompany her fourth album, she created and released an eighty-four page magazine that she designed herself.
Released in 2020, Nope is Meg Pfeiffer’s fourth studio album and her largest body of work to date, containing twenty-three original songs. The project was born out of a deeply personal chapter in her life, shaped by the passing of her father. That loss became the driving force behind her decision to pursue her dream with renewed determination, and Nope carries both the weight of grief and the fire of resilience.
To underline the scope and concept of the album, Meg released it together with an eighty-four-page magazine, which she designed herself, creating a multi-dimensional experience for her listeners. Nope stands as a bold statement of self-sufficiency, underlining her refusal to hand over control of her music. It is the first album she fully created on her own, solidifying her reputation as an artist with unshakable independence and vision.
The album moves between pop-alternative and folk-rock, Meg’s favorite genres, and its sheer scale and ambition highlight her dedication to her craft. It also brought wide recognition: with Nope, she was awarded Best Singer-Songwriter at the German Rock & Pop Awards and went on to collect numerous international prizes for her work.
Nope was also a breakthrough moment. It marked the point where she truly embraced her independence as an artist. Looking back, Nope feels like a turning point. It is bold, personal, and full of energy. It is the kind of album that not only tells a story, but also opens a new chapter. Nope became the foundation for the even larger projects that followed, including Unsent (2022), Perspective (2024), and Red Wine Philosophy (2025).

On Sunshine, Meg Pfeiffer performed all acoustic and electric guitars, ukulele, and additional instruments, accompanying her own vocals in a stripped-back pop rock acoustic style. The album blends cover songs with her original compositions, highlighting her as both a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

Released in 2015, Sunshine features 16 tracks in a pop and rock acoustic style. The album brings together cover songs alongside Meg’s own originals such as Parking Lot, Like a Rainbow, the title track Sunshine, and others. While the covers added an interesting layer, it was Meg’s own songs that stood out most, earning her several Global Music Awards and establishing her as a songwriter with a voice that could not be ignored. With Sunshine she returned to the very first songs she had written, beginning at the age of eleven and continuing through her teenage years. The album also built a bridge to her debut Man from the Woods from 2006, tying her early songwriting to her later work.
The record carried a deeper meaning as well. Sunshine was Meg’s way of showing what her earlier Sony release Bullrider from 2009 could have become if she had been allowed to contribute her own material. Many of the songs, written for that album and beloved by her audiences at live shows, finally found their rightful place here after being left aside by Sony Music.
Later, due to rights issues and Meg’s own decision during a dispute with a former manager, the album was taken down. Yet she never wanted her originals to vanish. Instead, she gave them new life in later projects. Parking Lot returned in its original idea as a duet, performed with her husband Luca Stricagnoli on her 22 track album Unsent in 2022. Like a Rainbow resurfaced on her 2024 album Perspective, celebrating its fifteenth year as a fan favorite.
Although Sunshine was conceived as a side project in a stripped back and acoustic form, with Meg performing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele and other instruments, it revealed her strength as both a recording and performing artist. At its heart, the album reflected what has always defined her artistry: songs drawn from real experience and produced entirely on her own terms.
The album was taken down at Meg’s own request, yet through her Remedy Project she is now re-recording every single song, from those written in childhood and teenage years to the works from her twenties and thirties, making sure that no piece of her music will ever be lost or unheard again.

Bullrider was released in 2010 through Sony Music and Universal Music Publishing. Since Meg does not own the rights to her second album and receives no payment when it is streamed, we believe it is only fair to focus instead on the music she creates independently and fully controls.
Bullrider was released in 2010 through Sony Music and became Meg Pfeiffer’s second studio album. Unlike her fully independent debut Man from the Woods from 2006, this record was shaped almost entirely by the label and leaned into a German country pop style that reflected industry expectations more than Meg’s true artistic voice. It contained a mix of covers and originals, yet many of Meg’s own songs, longtime fan favorites at her live shows such as Sunshine, Like a Rainbow and Parking Lot, were left aside during the production process. For Bullrider Meg Pfeiffer did not receive any awards.
Although the album gave her international exposure and placed her on the radar of the wider industry, it also marked a decisive turning point in her journey. The contrast between the freedom she had while making Man from the Woods and the restrictions she experienced on Bullrider made it clear that she needed to move away from the major label system. This realization laid the foundation for her future path, one where she would take ownership of every part of her work, from songwriting and recording to production and video direction.
Today Meg does not hold the rights to Bullrider and does not receive royalties when it is streamed, played on the radio or viewed on YouTube. For that reason she encourages listeners to explore her independent projects instead, music that reflects her true identity as an artist and that she can stand behind without compromise. Bullrider remains an important chapter in her story, a stepping stone that taught her the cost of giving up creative freedom and the spark that pushed her toward complete independence. From then on her career began to flourish.
Meg also does not own the rights to the original cover photo. To reclaim the imagery she returned to the same location in Nashville where Sony Music had shot the cover picture. There she recreated it in her own way, making it more authentic and using it here only as a prop for reference. Streaming links are not provided.

Man from the Woods was Meg Pfeiffer’s debut, an alternative pop-jazz LP released in 2006 under her own label. Recorded in Germany with the help of her friends Gabi and Holger, the album featured ten songs written by Meg, performed on guitar and piano, and sung entirely by her. It was produced and mixed by Holger Wetstone Productions, with Meg co-producing and shaping its sound.
The record was available at her early concerts, intimate performances with audiences of about one hundred people. It sold out quickly and drew press attention in 2006 and 2007, showing that even in its earliest form Meg’s voice and songwriting stood out.
Later, the rights were absorbed by Universal Music Publishing, which made it impossible for her to keep the album available. Determined not to lose it forever, Meg decided to re-record the LP and plans to re-release it in 2026 for its twentieth anniversary with new versions as part of the Remedy Project.
Looking back, Man from the Woods marks the starting point of her independent journey. It shows an artist who built her career from the ground up, facing rejections yet gathering every skill needed to take full control of her music. Today, with seven albums behind her and an eighth already in progress, Meg continues the path that began here: writing, performing, and producing her work entirely on her own.
